The Ultimate Scripture

Today I thought I would share with you one of my very favorite Scriptures in the whole Bible.
"The curtain of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom."

This account of what happened as Jesus died on the cross was written in three of the four Gospels. It powerfully and visually illuminates for us the huge impact and change the death of Jesus had for all time.

What an incredible picture for us that God painted in that moment.

No longer are we separated from God the Father due to our sin. No longer do we need a fallible high priest to go before us and make atonement for us each year. No longer are we "common folk" forbidden to enter His presence.

When Jesus died, sinless and yet having been tempted in all things, He became our perfect High Priest. He is the ultimate Sacrificial Lamb.
And the Holy of Holies - a representation of His heavenly throne room - is now open to all people.

Our role - just say "YES" and acknowledge what Jesus truly did.
He didn't just die.
His perfect sacrificial death tore the veil, welcoming us in.

Here is a very well done 2 minute video of the account:

Encouragement

I received a wonderful word of encouragement from my eldest today.
She came to me and asked me "Mom, how do you stay so organized? You get the laundry done and all the things around the house and still have time to work on your sessions and read and do everything. How do you do it and never seem rushed and like you are going crazy?"

The reason this is so encouraging is two fold.
First, because it has taken me about 30 years to reach this point!
And secondly, because I am going to be speaking on this very topic at the Ontario Homeschooling Conference at the end of April!!!

For her to have noticed such a difference in me, spontaneously comment, and then ask for advice was all very encouraging.

She proceeded to get a 5 minute summary of my topic and we'll see if it helps! That would be even more encouraging!
